Commonly known as a member of the ‘wax plant’ family, this slow-growing succulent vine is native to the Philippines. With its striking long, full, deep green and spotted cream leaves, the vining Hoya Variegata will bring a tropical feel into your space!
Being that it’s from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, drier soil, medium to indirect bright light and can vine/climb from 6 – 10 ft. indoors. This makes them great to pot in a hanging basket and place in a brightly lit space! Over time this plant may get a bit leggy, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant’s life cycle and if you prune right above the last node, it will encourage new, more compact, growth of leaves.
