Commonly known as the Variegated Laurel, this ever-so-popular houseplant is native from Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, to the western Pacific Ocean islands. With its broad, multi-colored leaves with prominent contrasting veins, the Garden Croton will bring a dash of much-needed color to your space!
Being that it’s from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, slightly dry soil, indirect to direct bright light and will grow up to 3 to 8 ft. tall with a spread of 3 to 6 ft. indoors. This makes them great to place in a room that gets A LOT of sunlight.
Over time this plant may accumulate some dust on its leaves, so you will want to regularly check up on it to give it a nice shower and wipe-down.
