The Dieffenbachia Camouflage really knows how to make an impression. The leaves are a light green, with a smattering of darker greens, reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting. The variegation is different for every plant, so your Dieffenbachia will always be unique. Dieffenbachias are nicknamed ‘Dumb Cane’: Ingesting any part of the plant will cause a numbing effect on the mouth and throat. You’ll also feel a burning sensation in your hands if you handle the plant too roughly, so definitely use gloves when pruning or moving them.
These plants originate from lush forests in Mexico, the West Indies, Argentina and are by far one of the most common indoor selections. The medium Dieffenbachia Camouflage comes in a 6” pot and can reach a little over a foot tall and a little less than a foot wide. Its long, narrow leaves tend to grow upright with some that spill off the sides like a waterfall! This plant brings a calm but lush vibe to any room, and can handle busy environments like a living room or a conference room!
