Perhaps one of the most bizarre variegations in the Ficus family, the Ficus ‘Tineke’ produces almost a “camouflage” variegation that composes of dark green, cream, and just a hint of pink.
The ficus family can have a bad rap because of their hard-to-please nature, but the Tinekes would be happy anywhere you can comfortable read a book (in other words, indirect bright light). THAT, is the key to keeping a ficus plant happy. They also like to be kept dry in between waterings so water only when the first two inches of the soil are dry, that should look like a once every 2 week watering schedule depending on your indoor environment. So not quite a hard plant per se, just give the plant some extra light, will ya?!
