There are over 100 kinds of Dracaena in the world! With so many unique plants, it can be hard to find the best one for your home or office, but don’t worry – we’re here to help!
The Rikki has long, lush leaves that show off varying amounts of yellow bursting through a green center. The Fragrans Rikki is a taller and thinner version of its cousin, the Deremensis. Overall, the Rikki is a pretty resilient cane plant – they’re resistant to most common pests and can withstand handling and transportation much better than most other Dracaenas. Found mainly in Africa, your Rikki will be happiest in rooms with medium to low indirect light. When kept in its ideal lighting conditions, the Rikki will keep its yellow variegation. If kept in a low-light environment, the foliage may revert back to a solid green.
Dracaenas prefer to be watered from the bottom of their pots and require very little. Be careful to not overwater your cane plant! Allow the soil to dry out thoroughly between waterings. In the best conditions, this plant can grow from 4 to 10 feet tall indoors! The large Dracaena Rikki comes in a 10” wide plastic grow pot, making it the perfect size to place in an open corner, fill that space in the hallway, or liven up a conference room. Similar to the other plants in the Dracaena genus, Rikkis are considered toxic to pets – keep the leaves and sap out of reach of any curious pets.
