Mings are native to India and to the Polynesia regions. This means they appreciate the sunlight! With a heavily variegated plant such as this, you’ll want to give the Snowflake Ming a little more sunlight than you would a fully green Aralia. The foliage is still too delicate to handle direct light, though! A perfect spot for this plant is a place that’s bright enough for you to read a book without the lights on.

They prefer consistently moist soil so water when the first inch of the soil feels dry. Water slowly and thoroughly until you see liquid draining from the bottom of the pot.
