Commonly known as the Beavertail Cactus, or the Paddle Cactus, this spiky, slow-growing plant is native to rocky areas of America. With its round, deep green, flat leaves, this bushy, succulent shrub is sure to bring a desert feel to your space!
Being that it’s from a dry, rocky environment, it thrives in moderate humidity, drier soil, medium to indirect bright light and will grow up to 8 ft. tall indoors. Remember that their variegated nature requires a little more light than a normal prickly pear cactus. This makes them great for a small space in a very brightly lit room with lots of windows!
