Medium Alocasia Silver Dragon

This rare jewel alocasia is native to the calcium-rich limestone regions of Eastern Borneo. The foliage is dazzling, with beveled, silver leaves, and contrasting dark veins. The Silver Dragon Alocasia is a small, but eye-catching statement plant and brings cooler energy to a space.

Being that it’s from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures and loves medium to bright indirect light. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby, or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn’t get direct light! Over time this plant may drop some of its smaller leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant’s life cycle as the alocasias tend to have few, large leaves rather than many small leaves.
